Five artists climb towards the edge of the universe with radios and headlamps. Hong Kong Exile’s Heaven FM (formally known as Baby universe, RMT) is a multimedia dance-theatre work that conjures spirit and story through light play and radio frequency.

Inspired by the Taiwanese folklore myth of Mong Po Tang (孟婆湯) Juolin explores and inquires the liminal space between remembering and forgetting, the living and deceased.

Luna is a dance about, for, and with my matcha green Tatung Rice Cooker – a piece of traditional Taiwanese kitchenware. Tatung Rice Cooker sits in every Taiwanese household. It is a very practical and important helper in the kitchen, and a symbol of home, familiarity and comforting warm dishes.

A seamless blend of Baroque and contemporary song and dance, this interdisciplinary performance is a powerful reclamation of the story of Dido, The Queen of Carthage, and her legacy as a political leader, an empire builder and a woman of colour.

Astrolabe Musik Theatre. Canadian premiere of UK composer George Benjamin’s chamber opera Into the Little Hill, a lyrical tale in two parts. A modern re-telling of the classic Pied Piper tale, Into the Little Hill tells of a mysterious stranger who rids a town of its rats, only to make its children disappear when his promised payment is withheld.
